Glenn Beck's Common Sense

By: Glenn Beck

Narrarated by: Glenn Beck

"If you believe it's time to put principles above parties, character above campaign promises, and Common Sense above all — then I ask you to read this book…."

In any era, great Americans inspire us to reach our full potential. They know with conviction what they believe within themselves. They understand that all actions have consequences. And they find commonsense solutions to the nation's problems.

One such American, Thomas Paine, was an ordinary man who changed the course of history by penning Common Sense, the concise 1776 masterpiece in which, through extraordinarily straightforward and indisputable arguments, he encouraged his fellow citizens to take control of America's future — and, ultimately, her freedom.

Nearly two and a half centuries later, those very freedoms once again hang in the balance. And now, Glenn Beck revisits Paine's powerful treatise with one purpose: to galvanize Americans to see past government's easy solutions, two-part monopoly, and illogical methods and take back our great country.

Telling Like it Is!

Laingsburg-Kid

Glenn Beck is one of the only people in our society today that has the intestinal fortitude to do what is right without the fear of policital recourse. Most people are so wrapped up in their own realities of the world without looking at where we came from and where we are going, that we are doomed to repeat our same mistakes over and over again. Here is a man that has found a life balance between work, politics, patriotism, family and the sick world we live in today. Good job Glenn! I wish there were more people that had the guts to do what is right in a society full of willing idiots! Good job man!

The Voice of Hate, Evil and Lies

Cool_Knight

I love emusic, but why are they selling this drivel from a man that spreads nothing but hate, fear and lies. emusic asks us to: Please keep your comments to the recordings themselves, and be courteous and respectful. Glenn Beck doesn't deserve any respect just go to You Tube and search Glenn Beck Fail: Best Of Beck Clips They're clips from his own show and you will find a man that is a vile and vicious mad man claiming to be the voice of sanity.

Comon Sense

Gunwiz

Beck's thoughts and views were very relevant 200+ years ago when the constitution was understood and respected, unlike today when the Constitution is viewed as an antique piece of paper that annoyingly stands in the way of the "ELITE" ones determined to transform this once great nation into a socialistic form of mid evil kingdom complete with a serfdom society. Beck's fight to preserve our freedoms and rights should be all of our fight. Those who are to blind or simply choose not to recognize what it happening will not only doom their children to a lower standard of life, but their grandchildren after them. WAKE UP AMERICA!!! Don't just read this book, listen to what he is saying.

Common Sense

This guy says what many are thinking. In this politicaly correct society he speaks volumes and reasures the silent majority that they are just that; the majority.

Quint should read the book BEFORE reviewing it!

JesusLivesInside

I have not read the book yet myself, but members who put their ideology and opinions into "lock box" and yet many claim to be open-minded?! I have heard this guy on the radio and while some of his opinions are extreme, he usually presents some hard facts that many on the left do not want to hear. Welcome the the new "tolerance".

Worthless

Quint

Having read this book, I can say this: Go to your favorite search engine. Type "glen beck" into it and read the opinions others have of this man. Do all this before deciding to support this worthless idiot by buying his book. He knows so little about anything, but he is especially ignorant of the US Constitution.
