The best audiobook to date!
Nice, but fifties
The book was entertaining, but to me, although born in the fifties, it was too fifties. The one dimensional characters, and the very passive characters of the women in the story date it very much. The story is compelling and tragic though, and the plot makes a lot more sense than that of the movie. The narrator does good job.
Captivating
This story is vastly more entertaining and engrossing than its movie adaptation. Once you start, you won't want to turn it off.
