Sometimes it takes separation from your roots to appreciate them.
Singer/songwriter Diana Jones was adopted and raised by a family in New York. When she eventually made contact with her birth family in the hills of Eastern Tennessee, she felt an uncanny resonance with the Appalachian music they loved, and began a journey of self-discovery. That music is what inspired her masterful second album.
