Issue: Why are some tracks available only by downloading an entire album?
A: Some record labels' licensing agreements do not allow individual track downloads from certain albums. We say better all than nothing!
Back to topIssue: How many music downloads will I be debited for an album-only download?
A: Album-only downloads debit your account per track the same as if you download each track individually. For example, if the album includes 10 tracks, you will be debited 10 music downloads.
Back to topIssue: I am having problems downloading or installing the Download Manager software.
A: If you see the error "Not a valid Win32 app" or "File Corrupted", or you try to install the Download Manager and nothing happens, you may need to delete the file you downloaded and re-download the Download Manger software from here.
Back to topIssue: How do I resolve the "Server name or address could not be found" message I get when I download files?
A: If you are seeing an error message that states "Server name or address could not be found", please make sure your firewall settings are enabled to allow the eMusic Download Manager to download from the internet.
Please note that once you download a song from eMusic, you can redownload it as many times as you like without losing credits as long as the album is available through eMusic.
Back to topIssue: Why do I get a "File: Not Available" message when trying to get songs I queued for download?
A: The files in your Download Manager queue are temporary files that will expire if you do not download your song(s). If you see the error message "File: Not Available", please re-download your track(s). You will not lose download credits.
Back to topIssue: My queued songs disappeared from the Download Manager.
A: You will need to re-select the song(s) you had previously queued for download. Please note that once you choose a song for download, you can re-download it without losing credits as long as the song is available at eMusic.
