    Brad Soroca
    Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer

    Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, Brad Soroca has over a decade of experience in the digital entertainment industry and previously has led marketing for some of today’s biggest consumer centric brands including ESPN, Golf Digest Companies, and NBC Local Media. Previously, Soroca was Senior Vice President of Marketing for the NBC Local Media. While at NBC Local Media, he was responsible for establishing the overall brand strategy and consumer communication for the division.

    Soroca formerly held the position of Vice President, Marketing for the Local Media digital group since March 2008. In that role, he oversaw the redesign and rebrand of the digital division’s local websites. Soroca joined NBC Local Media from ESPN, where he was Senior Director, Marketing responsible for espn.com brand building, audience development, and subscriptions for fantasy sports and the premium content play, Insider. Prior to his role at ESPN, Soroca worked at Golf Digest Companies as Director, Marketing, where he oversaw strategic brand building of a variety of media properties and assets. He started his career in advertising with Bates Worldwide.

    Molly Neuman
    VP Label Relations and MD Europe

    Molly Neuman manages eMusic’s existing relationships with independent labels, as well as fostering new ones. Neuman works closely with eMusic’s ever-increasing roster to increase revenue, strategize on breaking new artists and ensure that eMusic subscribers always have access to the greatest possible amount of both significant catalogue recordings and the latest, most innovative new music. Neuman has a rich background in the world of independent music. She began her career as the drummer for seminal riot grrrl band Bratmobile. After graduating from The Evergreen State College in 1992, she joined legendary Berkeley-based punk label Lookout Records and in 1997 was appointed partner. While at Lookout, she was instrumental in signing The Donnas, Ted Leo and The Pharmacists, Pretty Girls Make Graves and many others.

    In 2001 she co-founded Indivision Management, an artist management company dedicated to preserving artists’ autonomy in their careers while providing them with complete management services where she managed The Donnas, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists among others. In 2006 she founded Simple Social Graces Discos, releasing albums from artists such as Delorean, Two Tears, Les Aus and others. Between 2005 and 2011, Neuman served on the board of the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM).

    Daniel C. Stein
    President, JDS Capital; CEO, Dimensional Associates; Chairman, eMusic

    A serial entrepreneur, Daniel Stein is president of JDS Capital Management, Inc., an investment firm based in New York that invests in private, public and distressed debt and equity. He is CEO of Dimensional Associates, the operating company that manages the private equity investments made by JDS. Dimensional owns a variety of digital media assets, including eMusic, The Orchard and Qwikker Technology, LLC. Stein is also currently Chairman of eMusic, a role he has held since 2003 when Dimensional Associates acquired eMusic from Vivendi Universal's VUNet USA.

    In 2002, Stein was CEO of TTR Technologies, a copy protection technology company, whose assets were sold to Macrovision (NASDAQ:MVSN). Stein was president of Javu Technologies from 2000-2001. Javu licenses software and services to corporations that store, manage, deliver or repurpose video assets. Prior to joining Javu, Stein was president, chief operating officer and director of the Wedding List Company from 1999-2000, an Internet company with retail outlets specializing in the wedding gift and registry business. The Wedding List was sold to Martha Stewart/Omnimedia in 2001.

    In 1994, Stein founded Burly Bear Network, a company providing cable programming and online services to college students. From inception to 1999, Burly Bear became the largest college cable television network and online service, servicing eight million households throughout the country. Burly Bear was sold in 1997 to Lorne Michaels, owner of Broadway Video and creator and producer of Saturday Night Live. From 1992-1993 Stein worked in the executive-training program at retailer Lechters Housewares. Stein graduated from Cornell University in 1992.

    Managing Director, Europe

    As eMusic's Managing Director for Europe, Madeleine Milne has overall responsibility for the development and marketing of eMusic's business in Europe. Since joining eMusic in 2006, Milne has many notable achievements, including management of the launch of eMusic's pan-European service in September 2006 and building a wide range of corporate partnerships. These efforts have helped establish the company as the number two digital music service in Europe. She was named one of Management Today's 35 Women under 35 for 2008.

    Milne previously held several senior positions in the music industry, including Publishing Manager for Classic FM and Gramophone magazines at Haymarket Publishing, one of the UK's leading consumer and trade magazine publishers. Milne also served as Director of Masterprize, the world's pre-eminent competition for classical composition, which has become a major catalyst in the development of new music. At Masterprize, Milne was responsible for overseeing the International Composing Award, a worldwide initiative which is a partnership between Classic FM, EMI, The Gramophone, London Symphony Orchestra and America's National Public Radio.
