About Music Of The World

Music Of The World has long been considered one of the industries finest ethnic music labels documenting, recording, producing and distributing ethnic and indigenous music from the world over. With over eighty titles, MOTW's roster includes master musicians like; Hassan Hakmoun, Shankar, Badal Roy, Talip Ozkan, Beauseoleil, Nana Vasconcellos, Steve Gorn and Glen Velez to name just a few. As well as relatively unknown, yet massively talented artists such as the Blind Street Musicians of Cusco, James Makabuya, Bulgari and Trichy Sankaran.

Music Of The World has also pioneered the art of the compilation with with it's award winning Global Voices  series and Invocations  a compilationf sacred music from around the globe. We'reproud to make Music Of The World a part of the EMusic family.
