About Eroica
In 1993, when Eroica originally released Volumes I and II of Bela Bartok's solo piano works, featuring world class Hungarian-American pianist June de Toth, our primary mission was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his death. With that mission accomplished, Ms. de Toth is the first woman to record the Bart??k solo piano works. These beginnings have launched Eroica on a fast track to our goal of international acceptance and recognition. We have initiated an intensive series of auditions, which have resulted in the signing of over a hundred brilliantly gifted new artists. We are honored by the fact that these artists and ensembles have chosen theEroica label to introduce their CDs to a world wide record store and internet audience.
