Hybrid is an independent label distributed by Sony. Their most recent success was the release Bob Weir's compilation Weir Here. Hybrid was started as an alternative to the major label model by legendary concert promoter John Scher and the former head of A&M Records, Al Cafaro. Hybrid brings to eMusic Art Garfunkel, Harry Chapin's very talented daughter, Jen Chapin, Assembly Of Dust, Bruce Hornsby and a lot more.
