About Startime International
StarTime International released their first record, the French Kicks' Young Lawyer on Nov. 7th, 2000. Tired of the major labels only interested in mega one-hit-wonders, StarTime started signing artists who were not trying to entertain the major labels. The timing of this has let to some great bands and to some great opportunities for thrifty young entrepreneurs. StarTime International has created a solid roster of artists, including Brendan Benson, The Natural History, and The Walkmen who's song "We've Been Had" was featured in a Saturn commercial.
StarTime International was started and is still run by Isaac Green who up till May of 2003 was its sole employee. (It now has one other person helping out.)
