"Just got back from a great duo show of Peter Brotzmann and Han Bennink and it dawned on me that they are quite like Bert and Ernie (everything comes back to Sesame Street, don't you know?). Han is the silly, goofy one who interacts with the audience while Peter always looks like he could kick yer ass if he wanted too. And isn't that what makes a great duo? After all, you want the contrasting points of view to interact and make a whole. With that in mind, here are some duos worth their weight in rubber duckies or oatmeal boxes."
