'dusty turnaround', 'sometime', 'hit the road' and 'time to cry' are quirky pop with a distinct voice. 'delta blues' says emusic :)

Very pretty voice and head for melody. Far too MOR for me, but give it a go.

fun guitar pop, 'villain', 'velcro girl', 'you're such a weird girl', 'polyester' etc.

it's reverse chronological order, i think, so great pop-rock to start (eg Ladykillers) and more atmospheric 4AD Cocteau's plus churning guitar stuff at end.

somewhat hippyish california pop.

Electronic, similar to Ladytron, Goldfrapp (similar in a general way :) Witchy 'black cat bone' is my fav.

so much life. i love 'new england' (billy bragg), 'they don't know', 'terry', 'he's on the beach'.

quiet piano pop. the first track is my fav.

dreamy subtle pop. i like 'be the one', title track, 'medicine', 'white florida sun'.

complex instrumentation, electronic and others, nice beats, catchy melodies. i like 'marietta'.

catchy power pop with electronics.

Ha, it's a major label song that slipped through! Great pop from Kristin Hersh's least favorite Muses record.

She's a modern folky but since the instrumentation isn't traditional, why not call it pop.

the b-side 'last rain' is so beautiful; tanya excels at b-sides.

such silliness (lady diana, british racing green, extreme britishness i guess) and great electronic pop melodies.

not as silly as Black Box Recorder, for which she sings, still good electronic pop.

Alex Wong is a clever young producer and musician. Amber's songs are 1 and 4 - adorable, cute, catchy. I'm not so keen on Alex's Brooklyn folk.

a few scrappy guitar pop-punk songs like their debut (Erin O'Connor, I'm going to hell) and some new odd electronica (Century, Round the hairpin, Too clever by half, nostalgia), which works, so yey. Halfway between The Libertines and Ladytron. a bit of Blondie ('Guilt')

'Are you out there' and 'what do you here in these sounds' are good pop.

'A cleaner light' is great great pop. 'Echo' is damn fine too.

'I Need Some Fine Wine And You, You Need To Be Nicer' is great guitar pop, and there are lovely ballads too.

'Mass romantic' and 'letter from an occupant' with Neko Case singing lead are toe tapping.

Perfect pop - Disappear Club 5, Feels like I'm already flying, Corals, jade and pearls, 'you rock my world tonight', 'ladonia'. Odd yet perfect.

Lots of yummy pop including 'Iceblink Luck'

weird mangling of words, varied album, you have to try all the tracks.

I prefer Witching Hour (which isn't available in the US on emusic). great electronic pop on this anyway; 'Ghosts' and 'I'm not scared' are easy to get into.

'good year', 'not the end', 'tenderness' are my favs. wish there was more of her solo stuff on here, an amazing artist.
