"eMusic doesn't like me linking to this site, so just Google 'jazz 100 cd' and go to their site, based in Australia (.au). From their introduction, "based on comprehensive statistical surveys of critics, record stores and popular poll". This list includes their second 100 cds, so I guess you could call it the Top 200 Jazz CDs site.

I tried to find as many albums as were on the list. Only a fraction are available, and in a few cases, the listed album is a live performance of the named studio album.

Given the new price regime, be sure to shop around before just knee-jerk downloading from eMusic."
