"These are songs that come alive with biblical truth and wisdom in an age where what usually passes as "Christian" music is nothing more than inane positive pop or whiny emo nonsense, no different than its pagan counterparts save for a few shallow mentions of some ambiguous "God" and "faith".
I'm not saying necessarily that these songs all represent deep, scholarly ruminations, but simply that in my opinion they are, by and large, solid examples of the thoughtful and substantive music of believers.
(Not saying these are all the albums/songs I would describe this way, either, just that they're the ones on eMusic that I'm familiar enough with to be able to personally recommend)"
