The Free Electric Band, Cowpuncher

What did that cow ever do to you? The Free Electric band, fortunately, are better suited to chilling out than acting up. The songs on their violently-named Cowpuncher are mostly laid-back and chilled-out, blurts of synth splattering across simple, thumping rhythms. It's the kind of thing you hear at 2 a.m. wandering drunkenly through the club, not knowing whether it's time to stick or move. The Free Electric Band are the sound of a blinking LED — hypnotic and, eventually, mesmerizing.
