In a move that isn't surprising anyone, The Who have told reporters that 2015 will mark both the band's 50th anniversary and their final world tour.
"It'll be the last big one for us," guitarist Pete Tonshend said before a screening of Sensation, a documentary about their classic concept album Tommy. "There are still plenty of places we’ve not played. It would be good to go to eastern Europe and places that haven’t heard us play all the old hits.”
According to London's Evening Standard, solo projects are expected from Townshend and the group's frontman, Roger Daltrey. An expanded box set edition of Tommy is also expected on November 11th through Geffen. Read all about that here, and check out a classic live clip below... more »
