Van Dyke Parks Announces First Album of New Material Since 1989

The new Van Dyke Parks album

Reinvigorated by Bella Union's essential run of reissues last year, Van Dyke Parks has wrapped up his first collection of new recordings in more than two decades. Due out May 6th, Songs Cycled features a wealth of material, including original tracks ("Dreaming of Paris," "Wall Street," "Missin' Missippi'"), cover versions of old favorites, and guest spots from Gaby Moreno and Irana George.
